Frontline
my dog is currently on frontline for flea control…she is rarely around other pets and is flea free…do I need to keep her on frontline throughout the winter? Jenn

Personally, I don’t treat for fleas unless I have an actual flea problem. If you live in a cold winter climate where outdoor fleas are inactive this time of year, if your home is flea-free, and if your dog doesn’t interact with other animals from whom she may contract fleas, I don’t see the point of using Frontline right now. You should discuss the pros and cons of discontinuing flea prevention/treatment with your vet before making any decisions, though.
