Animal stories for Discovery Channel documentary

Hi Everyone,

I am researching for a Discovery Channel Series and looking for any footage or stories of animals getting out of their cage or enclosure and being where they shouldnt be.

I wondered if anyone might know a good point of contact for people who  might have such stories (private homes, parks or zoos) and may also have footage or we may be able to film with?

The programme is to be a very positive and endearing look at animal behaviour - how ingenious, curious and unexpected they can be - and we hope to identify individuals and zoos we can work with and include in the programme.

Any ideas would be much appreciated!  I'm happy for anyone to email me hannah@cicadabellwether.com.

Many thanks

Hannah

I love animals. I seriously do. I donate to several wildlife conservation groups every month, and one of my most fun experiences of late was playing with a bunch of baby goats in a little Balkan village I'm an unapologetic omnivore, but that takes absolutely nothing away from my love for and respect for the rest of the life on this planet.  All this talk about animals... What about plant life. Plants fit the description of life. Let the plants and animals be free from human interference, intrusions of privacy and the horrible business of us EATING them. Plants are alive so they must feel the same way we do. For that matter bacteria and viruses are as well. Every time I catch a cold my body automatically destroys millions of lives. Thanks.
