I have a chinchilla who recently started losing fur on his left paw and has a ring around his left eye. Since yesterday he also hasn't really been eating. Any ideas?

First question:  How old is you Chinchilla and is it a rabbit? Because my some of my bread of rabbit will change their fur about 4 ~ 6 months old.  So I think maybe your Chinchilla is in this kind of situation.  Hope this will help you, but if you still worrying about you Chinchilla then I think it is better for you to take it to see a doctor.
