My husband came home with a boxer,  the lady he got him from was alergic to him so my husband felt sorry for him she said she had to get rid of him fast, We have two female dogs both spayed, planning on fixing the boxer, the question is do dogs hike there legs after neutering or do they do it no matter what,

Neutering should greatly reduce that problem. 99% of the time it does...How old is your boxer?

If you get him neutered before he reaches sexual maturity (before he's 6 mos old), he shouldn't develop any marking behavior at all -- at least not inside your home.  He will probably still hike his leg in normal urination outdoors, though some male dogs continue to squat throughout their lifetimes.  My boy Pippin has never lifted his leg.  He's a squatter.

My male dog has never lifted his leg and he is almost 2.  It is so funny to see him squat.  Is that normal?

It is very normal for them to squat. The earlier they are neutered, the less of a chance there will be of them hiking.

Redfire is right get him nuetered asap.  He is still young enough he hasn't started to hike.  But if you wait to long to fix him and he starts to hike.  He most likely continue.
